Craft Steel Construction Group has secured a contract to manage the extraction and delivery of lignite. The mining process includes several crucial steps aimed at ensuring efficiency and precision throughout the operation.

Overburden Removal
Overburden removal is conducted using two draglines with impressive capabilities:
- A 76 cubic yard dragline capable of moving nearly 17 million cubic yards of overburden per year
- An 80 cubic yard dragline handling approximately 20 million cubic yards of overburden annually
These operations are supported by a 19 cubic yard bulk excavator, alongside a fleet of 100-tonne dump trucks.
Lignite Extraction with Easy Miners
Lignite extraction is carried out using specialized Easy Miners, which are similar to machines used for milling asphalt and concrete on highways. The Easy Miners offer:
- Precise depth control for lignite extraction
- Selective removal of impurities through separation techniques
